New Shipbuilding Construction & Supervision

A team of professionals with each members’ career expanding between 10-15 years in New Ship Construction and Repairs, in various capacities, for reputed shipyards across the World and have work experience of prestigious projects involving professional acumen, skill and knowledge. Further, we also have experience to build new Bunker/Oil Barges, including 600KL, 800 KL and 1100 KL Oil Barges, through our sister concern. Our new building services transcends from experts in the team comprising of Master Mariners, Marine Engineers, Naval Architects, Paint Specialists, Electrical Engineers, Procurement Managers and Site Managers with both shipbuilding and operational experience thus ensuring that vessels are built to suit its commercial as well as operational requirements.

Shipbuilding Construction

Having access to various waterfront facilities in the country, with functional relations with experienced and professional contractors gives us flexibility to build vessels near customers’ site. Our strategic relationship with International suppliers for Engineers, Equipment, Hardware fittings, helps us provide exclusive focus on raw material quality, build consistency, functionality and total cost of Ownership.

Our expertise on new shipbuilding construction and related services include:

  • Conceptual and Detailed Design, with Equipment Schedule preparation and review.
  • Plan Approval for Hull and Machinery Systems.
  • Sourcing of raw material and equipment.
  • Supervision of vessel construction i.e. Hull, Machinery, Outfitting etc.
  • Steel surface preparation and painting supervision.
  • Attending machinery shop trials.
  • Attend harbor and sea trials.
  • Ensuring seamless handover of new build, with detailed vessel/operational familiarization.
  • Ensuring timely warranty defects rectification.

Technical Management

Planning and controlling all activities of ship management functions so as to achieve optimum operational efficiency, always consistent with company's Safety and Quality Policy and best ship management practices whilst giving absolute regard to Safety of Life at Sea and protection of the environment at all times. We expertise in maintaining a strict control over running expenditure of vessels.

Our vessel management responsibilities include :

  • Purchase / supply / manage all necessary vessels’ orders for stores, spares, repairs & survey to ensure that the vessel remains adequately stocked for safe and efficient operation.
  • Working closely with company's Safety and Quality Policy to ensure that repairs of all reported deficiencies, damages and non-conformities are cleared as quickly as possible.
  • Preparing the vessels for internal quality audits & audits of Flag State / Port state / Classification societies etc.
  • Investigation of Incidents / Accidents / Near Miss and to establish the root cause and make recommendations to prevent a recurrence. Assisting as required in any emergency response.
  • Interviewing and briefing crew on the work plan / requirements / operating procedures in accordance with the company's Safety and Quality Policy prior to them joining the vessel.
  • Maintaining manning of vessel in accordance with the Safe Manning Document of the vessel at all times. Planning / assisting in Sign On / Sign Off of the ship crew.
